As a seasoned finance, strategy and operations professional with a knack for numbers, my focus is on streamlining bookkeeping, payroll and accounting processes to ensure small businesses meet compliance requirements and have the needed financial insights to run a successful business.   Having run a small business prior to taking on finance and accounting leadership roles in corporations such as Nike, I’ve learned a few things.

Three important characteristics for a small growing business, 

Firstly, customers and clients must come first. 

Secondly, timely financial information or clarity is needed to make decisions that will grow the company and drive profitability.  

Thirdly, businesses need clean books for compliance reasons.  

However small business owners wear a lot of hats!   An owner or business leader’s time is best spent focusing on the business.  Their time may not be well spent categorizing expenses and running payroll.    The solution is to achieve clean books and timely financial information by shifting the bookkeeping and accounting to efficient cost-effective resources.    This benefits the business by providing business owners or leaders the financial clarity and time needed to nurture and grow their business.     

I have a successful track record helping small and large companies achieve results through improved accounting processes, financial analysis and systems implementations.  In addition, I hold a bachelor’s in accounting from UW Foster School of Business.   Through Deep Blue, I am excited to aid fellow entrepreneurs and business leaders in achieving continued growth and success.
